Your Guided Tour of Hyper-Converged Database Starts Here
When we introduced our Hyper-Converged Database earlier this year, our mission was to deliver cloud-native data infrastructure for the future. What does that mean? It’s a way to enable lower TCO via highly efficient management of your resources and infrastructure using Kubernetes. It enables organizations that prefer self-managed data infrastructure to get faster access to the latest technology enhancements, including vector search, an easy-to-use management interface to handle your clusters, a Data API for simplified data modeling, and much more.
But how do you get started? I'm glad you asked. I recently joined my colleague Aaron Ploetz to walk through the right way to start your HCD journey in the livestream, “Getting Started with Hyper-Converged Database.” I encourage you to watch the replay for a guided tour of HCD that will show you how to:
- Set up and deploy your first HCD cluster with Mission Control, our next-gen operations platform
- Manage and optimize Cassandra workloads with HCD
- Use the Data API for streamlined data modeling
- Enhance your generative AI applications with the JVector integration
- Understand the differences between HCD and DataStax Enterprise and their complementary roles in your infrastructure
For more resources, check out the HCD docs or keep the learning going with our HCD playlist on YouTube. If you have questions or need to discuss your use case, we’d be happy jump on a call with you.
