GitHub Copilot + Astra DB: Build GenAI Apps Faster

Today at the GitHub Universe global developer conference, the DataStax Astra DB GitHub Copilot plugin was showcased on the keynote stage. This plugin – a collaboration with GitHub Copilot – will enable developers to build with Astra DB even faster by conversing with their database via GitHub Copilot Chat.

You can ask VSCode chat questions like “Tell me about my chat_prod database” or “tell me about the schema of a table.” You can even ask the plugin for guidance on how to write CQL queries: “Write a CQL query to read from the chat table.”
