In the 2000s, the industry solved scale-out networking, connecting to billions of devices. In the 2010s, the industry solved scale-out compute, running billions of instances of cloud apps. In the 2020s, we are solving for scale-out data. In this series, we’ll explore open-source data, open source software, data on Kubernetes, data in DevOps, and data in AI. What can we learn from cloud-native development and how can we share that with developers, engineers, product owners, and product managers who are working in the new world?
