Ravi Radhakrishnan is managing director and chief information officer (CIO) for Wholesale Banking Technology.

He joined Wells Fargo in 2012 as the CIO of Capital Markets. In 2015, his role was expanded to lead the Wholesale Banking Technology team responsible for strategy, development, and support of technology solutions for all Wholesale businesses. Additionally, he is the enterprise technology leader for international technology teams and capital markets services.

Ravi leads a team of more than 5,000 technology professionals based around the world. He serves on the Enterprise Technology Governance Committee, Wholesale Risk Committee, Wholesale Operating Committee, and Wells Fargo India Solutions Board. He is based in San Francisco.

Before joining Wells Fargo, Ravi was the global head of Markets Operations Technology at Citigroup in New York, where he oversaw the development and support of all operations technology platforms for Capital Markets. During his 18 years at Citigroup, Ravi held various Capital Markets and Investment Banking technology roles, including global head of Equities Technology and global co-head of Equities and Prime Services Technology.

Throughout his career, Ravi has partnered closely with diverse stakeholders to build and lead strong technology teams in the design, development, and support of wholesale banking applications.

Ravi received his bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering from College of Engineering, Guindy, in Chennai, India, and a master’s degree in computer science from Rutgers University in Piscataway, New Jersey.
