Dr. Heather Domin, the Global Leader of Responsible AI Initiatives, at IBM in the office of Privacy and Responsible Technology. She has been instrumental in developing and executing foundational practices in AI ethics and governance, including building IBM's Ethics by Design program and its Algorithmic Impact Assessment, which set a high bar for responsible technology.
Her impact еxtеnds well beyond corporate confines, with work that has a global influence on the tech industry and society. As thе Associate Director of the Notre Dame - IBM Tеch Ethics Lab, her ideas have shaped a robust industry-academic ecosystem and led to novel research discoveries.
As a World Economic Forum Fellow, she provided executive and research leadership on research centered on Generative AI.
She has served as a subject matter expert to help craft the IAPP AI Governance Professional Body of Knowledge and its associated certification exam, and now serves on the advisory board for the certification.

Dr. Domin holds a Ph.D. in Business Analytics and Data Science. She has professional certifications in AI Governance and multiple project management methodologies. These include the AI Governance Professional (AIGP), Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certifications. Dr. Domin’s work has garnered distinguished awards and she was named one of the 10 Best Leaders of the AI Age, Shaping a New Technological Era - 2024 by CIO Look.
In her publications, which span a diverse array of platforms from IBM's thought leadership and policy forums to academic journals, Dr. Domin provides incisive analyses on topics such as AI governance and ethics in practice.
