London Called. RAG++, The AI Event, Answered!

London Called. RAG++, The AI Event, Answered!

Our RAG++ AI Event tour landed in London this week! The gathering, the third in our RAG++ series (read recaps about San Francisco and New York), brought together over 200 developers, CxOs, and founders to share knowledge and learn from a host of partners, customers, and other AI experts.

During his keynote, DataStax Chairman and CEO Chet Kapoor was proud to share breaking news that we’ve been named a Leader in the Forrester’s Wave™ for Vector Databases, Q3 2024 (read more about the news here, and get a complimentary copy here).

Chet was then joined by NBCUniversal CTO Patrick Miceli for a fireside chat where they discussed how the global media and entertainment company uses AI to power flexible, mission-critical systems, and how a top customer experience requires a balance of AI and manual processes.

Breakout sessions included discussions about the use of generative AI in highly regulated industries; we were joined by industry leaders from Amplience, Bud Financial, eSynergy, iWander, Microsoft, Nationwide Building Society, PagoNxt, Restworld, and others.

We also provided details on our latest partnership news: a new DataStax Langflow Glean Component. This new integration enables developers to seamlessly integrate the Glean Work AI platform within their Langflow implementations, tapping into Glean's powerful retrieval capabilities to enrich the context of their operations and drive more informed decision-making processes. Users can take advantage of Glean’s native integrations with Google, Slack, and over 100 connectors to the world’s most-used applications. Read more about it on the DataStax blog.

And keep an eye on our events page for news about upcoming gatherings!
