DataStax Community 2.1.9 Ready for Download

DataStax Community Edition 2.1.9 has been uploaded to the public repositories and is available for download from PlanetCassandra. This is the latest maintenance release of the Apache Cassandra 2.1 branch with a number of bug fixes listed in CHANGES.txt. There are a few upgrade notes for this version in NEWS.txt: cqlsh now displays UTC times, commit log files are no longer recycled, and the set/getCompactionStrategyClass JMX methods have been deprecated.
