Introducing the DataStax AI Terraform Module

As GenAI moves from internal experiments to production-grade applications, one thing that enterprises shouldn’t be concerned with is infrastructure management. DataStax customers have addressed this concern by turning to infrastructure automation tools, including HashiCorp’s Terraform, to help manage and provision their Astra DB environments.

Terraform is an infrastructure-as-code tool that enables you to safely and predictably provision and manage infrastructure in any cloud. Now, there’s a way to make provisioning even easier, across various DataStax generative AI solutions and tools: the DataStax AI Terraform Module. Developed in partnership with HashiCorp, the new module simplifies provisioning, installation, and configuration of Astra DB, Langflow, the Astra Assistants API, and more.

New and existing Terraform users can now add the AI Terraform Module to their automation scripts to get easy access to our end-to-end powerful generative AI stack. This module enables developers to install Langflow locally to jumpstart their GenAI projects. Developers can also create new Astra DB Vector databases. For operators, this module simplifies management of the Astra DB lifecycle, organizations, and users, and helps them configure security and more.

The new module also enables operators and developers to bring DataStax technologies to their existing Terraform infrastructure.
