Tools for Apache Cassandra®

Bulk loading / unloading data and connecting a database to a messaging / event streaming system are two of the most common developer tasks. It was clear that DataStax Enterprise developers needed utilities for these tasks, so we built a bulk loader and connector to make their lives easier. Now we want to make the lives of all Cassandra users easier too. 

Today, we are making both the DataStax Bulk Loader and DataStax Apache Kafka® Connector tools freely available to any developer working with open source Cassandra. 

If you have JSON / CSV files that you need to get into the database quickly, want to unload your database data to files for analysis, or just want to count how many rows are in a given table, the DataStax Bulk Loader does this faster than any other Cassandra tool. Using Kafka? The DataStax Kafka Connector is a sink connector that makes it a “zero code” experience to bring event streaming data to Cassandra. This connector has earned Confluent's Verified Gold status and is the fastest way to get data from Kafka to Cassandra while giving you the flexibility to read from many Kafka topics and write to many Cassandra tables.
